R&D Goal
Complementing traditional motion graphics workflows while delivering quality that was ready for immediate adoption was key. So, while it was important to understand the strengths of Unreal Engine itself, it was equally important to be aware of its weaknesses. We've put together a workflow other hypothetical cases.
As the number of different types of media has increased, we've been actively exploring ways to create beyond our main tool, Cinema 4D. We have been actively investigating various production methods, and we have decided that it is very important to build an immediate and powerful workflow using Unreal Engine. Unlike typical 3D DCC tools, the advantages of Unreal Engine as a game engine will further enrich ADAM's production capabilities. This research was led by 3D team member Myung-won Choi, and was successfully completed in the first half of 2023, and has been actively used in practice since the second half.
