Beauty studies.
Form, texture & light.
How can we explore texture and light while preserving a product’s form? Three beauty studies bring together AI-assisted imagery, product modelling and compositing.
Colour in bloom.
Deep reds and petal-like surfaces. A study of the contrast between a structured container and the organic forms around it.
Softness, sculpted.
Cream becomes a sculptural material. Flowing surfaces and soft light shape the space around the product.
Light in suspension.
Fewer droplets, one fluid gesture. Light passing through a translucent liquid gives the scene its depth.
Look beneath the surface.
Move the slider to examine the product and surrounding forms. Compare the simplified composition with its treatment in texture and light.

The grey images were made after the artwork to explain its composition. They are separate from the product modelling experiment shown below.
Keep the product in view.
A logo crossing a corner changes with the viewing angle. We built a reference model and rendered recessed lettering across both faces to examine the perspective.

Product reference
A source image for checking container proportions, corner edges and logo placement.

Reference model
An actual 3D reference model built to investigate perspective and recessed lettering.

Selected detail
Detail from an image generated using the reference model. The selected product was composited into the retained background.
The modelling experiment and final image have distinct production paths. The selected logo detail is generated from a 3D reference, not directly rendered lettering. Production details are checked against client-approved product materials.
What the study taught us.
AI-assisted development offered many ways to explore materials and light. Reference images alone, however, did not make the product lettering and perspective accurate.
A reference model and source images gave us a way to examine the product separately. The director selected the visual direction and final images, refining the work through generation, modelling and compositing.
Study information and references
An independent ADRM study, 2026, featuring HERA, DINTO and INCELLDERM products. These images are self-initiated studies, not new campaigns commissioned by the brands.
